Room and board charges incurred when classes are not in session are not covered by the scholarship. The Scholarship is also only available with full-time matriculated enrollment. Meal plans are only available to students living on-campus.
The room and board scholarship is a form of financial aid. Federal regulations require that a student’s total financial aid package for educational purposes not exceed the total cost of attendance. Your room and board scholarship may be reduced if you are awarded more funding than it costs for you to attend school.
Summer Housing
During the summer session, you will not receive housing outside of the campus that your financial aid package is awarded (your home campus).
You will be allowed to receive summer housing at your home campus only during the times that you are actively enrolled in a credit bearing course. If there are any gaps in the time you finish a summer session class and the time you start another summer session class, you are responsible for any room and board charges incurred.
